POKOTABI / GINZA KOKORO
GINZA KOKO炉
Located in Ginza 1-chome, GINZA KOKORO specializes in multi-course dinners centered on Kobe beef steaks roasted in a charcoal kiln, complete with wine pairings and anniversary options in a relaxed setting.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Roasted in a charcoal-fueled kiln, Kobe beef steak takes on a fragrant, crisp exterior while sealing in tender, flavorful juices within. Set on the first basement floor of a building in Ginza 1-chome, GINZA KOKORO builds its dinner courses around this signature hearth roasting.
The restaurant's centerpiece full course opens with a vibrant seafood assortment that layers Oscietra caviar, Hokkaido sea urchin, Breton lobster, and abalone. For the kiln-roasted main course, leaner cuts with pronounced beef flavor—such as rump or ichibo (top sirloin cap)—form the foundation, though guests may also opt for cuts like sirloin, chateaubriand, or fillet. As a final savory touch, diners can choose between the pasta of the day or garlic rice prepared with Kobe beef. A short course is on offer for those seeking a lighter meal, along with a time-limited course designed for early seatings in the 17:00 hour.
A curated lineup of wine, Champagne, and whiskey complements the courses, allowing for a leisurely meal over drinks. The interior features both counter seating, where diners can watch the chefs at work, and private rooms suited to intimate gatherings. For birthdays and anniversaries, the restaurant accommodates celebrations with options such as message plates, whole cakes, and flower bouquets, making it an appealing booking for special occasions.
